1. Julia Roberts in ‘Pretty Woman’
In Pretty Woman, there’s an unforgettable scene where Richard Gere playfully snaps a jewelry box onto Julia Roberts’ fingers, causing her to burst into laughter. Shockingly, this was meant to be a gag reel and not part of the actual movie. Director Gerry Marshall wanted to surprise a tired Roberts, leading to her genuinely surprised laughter that lit up the scene.
2. Dustin Hoffman in ‘The Midnight Cowboy’
The famous line “I’m walking here!” from The Midnight Cowboy was never planned. As Dustin Hoffman and his co-star crossed a busy New York street during filming, a cab nearly hit them. Hoffman intended to yell, “We’re shooting here!” but ended up creating a legendary film quote instead.
